Vedic Mathematics!

We have already done a lot in programming! Now lets take a break from it and begin with mathematics but not with the maths we do in normal life but a different kind of maths - Vedic Maths which helps to do our calculations fast....
We normally get to multiply 3 digit numbers with 3 digits..
E.G -   543
       X  345
             ?     

We Normally take a lot of time in solving such problems.. But By using the method " Diagonally and Vertically" We can easily solve this problem

 Lets figure the answer of the above question..

 First start from the right side...

 Step 1   Multiply the digits Vertically... Here : 3 X 5 = 15 Write 5 carry 1
Step 2   Now a small cross inside.. Here : 5 X 4 + 3 X 4 + carry 1 = 33 Write 3 carry 3
Step 3   Now diagonally and Vertically... Here: 5 X 4 + 4 x 3 +  4 X 4 carry 3 = 51 Write 1 carry 5
Step 4    Now Diagonally ... Here : 5 X 4 + 4 X 3 + 5 = 35 Write 5 carry 3
Step 5   Last Step...Vertically from left... Here: 5 X 3 + carry 3 = 18 Write 18

 The above solution is not correct it is just the way to do it..Try to find the correct answer...The correct answer will be posted in the next post
